About Me
My Bio-
My interests include weather, photography, snowboarding,
traveling and pretty much anything. I grew up in Elizabethtown
Pennsylvania. I attended Elizabethtown
Area High School and graduated in 2000. From there I attended
Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC)
for a year and then took a semester off to attend the Walt
Disney World College Program. During the program I worked at
Disney's Animal Kingdom as an Outdoor Food host serving Ice Cream. "Do
you want a Mickey on a stick?" That experience was great and very enjoyable.
After graduating with my Duckdorate from the college program I transferred
to Valparaiso
University where I double majored in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics
and Television- Radio. I graduated in May 2005
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a Bachelor of Arts
degree in TV- Radio. At VU I participated in many wonderful activities.
I was a member of the Northwest Indiana Chapter of the National Weather
Association (NWA),
Valparaiso University Storm Intercept Team (VUSIT),
I was a Valpo Overnight Visitor Host (VOV), and I had participated in VU
Handbell Choir.
