In the early 1920's up until the mid 1930's experiments where performed with all electronic Cahode Ray Television, considered as the same prototype of a basic tv set today.

During WWII there was a halt on mostly all production of television. This would continue until 1946 once the war was over. The first post war tv set would be produced by RCA which less than 7,000 units where available within the U.S. and was sold at the price of $499.95
1954 was the year that the first All-Electronic Color Television Set hits the market by RCA. Its seeling price was a whomping $1000.00
