About Me
Biography:
My hometown is Colorado Springs, CO. I think Colorado is the greatest state in the world due to the vast array of outdoor activities and splendid climate. I chose to attend Valparaiso University in Indiana simply because I wanted to see another part of the world and none of the schools in Colorado interested me. So here I am, earning a Bachelors of Science for a Biology major and chemistry minor in a pre-med track. My ambition is to become an orthopaedic surgeon, and I am in the midst of applying to medical schools. I hope to attend medical school at CU Denver where I can continue life in Colorado.
Interests:
Aside from my academic interests in science, I love studying theology and philosophy (and of course geography!). I also enjoy every sport on the face of the planet. I regularly participate in intramurals and tournaments on campus. I play for Valpo's travelling Ultimate frisbee team, and I have competed in soccer, flag football, basketball, kickball, tennis, soccer, ping pong, foosball, and softball at school to name a few. I also love skiing, hiking, backpacking, baseball, running, biking and dodgeball to name a few things I enjoy that I haven't actually competed in in college. And yes, I have also played Jai-alai and water polo as well :) My hobbies consist of gaming, both electronically and otherwise. I am rather proficient at chess, checkers, backgammon, and most all board and card games out there. My favorite pc game is hands down Star Wars Battlefront 2, where I am world ranked currently at 33rd on the most popular (by number of players) server. I also enjoy RTS's, most FPS's, and Star Wars related RPG's for those who know what those mean :) When I am not nerding it up or playing sports, I love watching movies and listening to music. I am a metalhead, and have so many "favorite" artists I cannot list them all. I have added links to some great music vids at the bottom of this page to help spread awesome music around the world. :)
