This is me. My favorite NBA player is Allen Iverson. this is a picture

When Allen Iverson was a boy he did not like playing basketball. He would not go to practice. Allen Iverson's mother made him go to practice despite the fact that he hated basketball. To encourage her son to play and practice, Allen's mother brought him a pair on Air Jordan's. After he received the shoes he began going to practice. He became intrigued by the game. He began going to practice and develpoed a love for the game. He soon became a star on the court.

I became a fan on Allen Iverson when I was a freshman in high school. When Allen Iverson was at Georgetown he was a stand out player. I remember reading about him in the newspaper. I knew he would become an NBA all-star. He was picked number 1 in the draft in 1996 and received a 40 million dollar contact with Reebok staight out of college. He lived up to his college success by earning the rookie of the year award his first year in the NBA. When I played basketball I patterned my skills after him. When Micheal Jordan played he was my favorite player, but now that MJ has retired my favorite player is Allen Iverson.

This summer (2004) Allen Iverson joined many other NBA stand outs and all-stars in Greece for the 2004 olympics. The team had a rough start losing their first few games, but came out with the bronze medal in the end. "You want to win the whole thing, but you've got to cherish the fact that you were able to win something," Allen Iverson said. "You come all the way over here to Greece and then go home with nothing? That's a lot worse."

Allen Iverson has won numerous awards such as the MVP regular season award, the All-Star MVP award, the Rookie of the Year award, and two scoring championships.
